  • How to Honor the Resident’s Voice-from Med Passes to Dining

This program reviews the challenge of residents having limited input on their daily life in a nursing home environment, and how one community chose to solve it. The presenters will share their journey in liberalizing all of the aspects of their home, by putting the decision making back into the hands of each individual. This includes medication times, bathing schedules, therapy schedules, meals and meal times and eliminating tray service. They will review their process for implementation, modifications they made, struggles along the way and their plan for sustainability. And, there will be time for your questions.
